Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Summary: Suvia runs entirely on your phone. There is no account, server, advertising, analytics or tracking. Nothing you enter is sent to us or to any third party.

Data we collect

Suvia does not collect any personal data. You don't need to sign up or enter an e-mail address or password. The app has no server, so we cannot see, store or share any information about you.

Information stored on your phone

So that the app can work, the following is kept only in a local database on your phone:

This information never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also erase it permanently at any time with Settings → Delete all data.

Backups

If you choose Export as JSON in Settings, your log is written to a file and your phone's share sheet opens. Only you decide where the file goes (e.g. Files, e-mail, cloud storage); the data does not come to us at any point. When you restore a backup, the file is read only on your phone.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on the device by your phone's own notification system. For this the app asks for notification permission. If you don't grant it, the app keeps working but won't send reminders. You can change the permission at any time in your phone's settings.

Permissions and network

Suvia does not use an internet connection. On Android it does not even request the internet permission.

Health notice

Suvia is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Progress shows how close you are to the goal you set, not your body's hydration level. Consult a healthcare professional for decisions about your health.

Children

Suvia is not directed at children and does not collect personal data from anyone of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date above refreshed.
